Approach to Protect Card Data and Your Brand Equity

More than three years after PCI DSS compliance requirements were implemented, there remains a lack of understanding regarding the real and potential risks of noncompliance and the commitment required to implement and maintain an adequate program. As evidence, industry reports show that approximately four in five merchants fail PCI DSS assessments because of their inability to protect cardholder data, one of 12 primary PCI DSS requirements. However, businesses are not expected to act alone in attempting to maintain and reduce the cost of their PCI DSS compliance. Merchants of all sizes can look to new, improved technologies that protect cardholder data using a “layered” security strategy. This session will outline how to dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of PCI DSS compliance, as well as:

  • Important and essential recent developments in PCI DSS standards and anticipated costs
  • Emerging threats in data security and an in-depth overview of new solutions available
  • How to maintain PCI DSS compliance as a continuous process
  • And how to reduce the cost and burden of PCI compliance
