American Bancard LLC has purchased the Trilogy Payment Solutions payments business.
“We are thrilled with closing another transaction, and look forward to a successful integration of Trilogy onto our platform,” Sam Zietz, CEO of Boca Raton, Fla.-based American Bancard, said in a press release last week. “We are able to differentiate our offerings to merchants through our proprietary [point-of-sale] systems and technology products, allowing us to become a true solution provider.”
American Bancard provides electronic payment equipment and merchant processing while also offering merchant cash advances.
The Strawhecker Group, an Omaha, Neb.-based payments-industry management consulting company, served as advisor to Trilogy, the release said.
