Financial Transaction Services has acquired Dependable Payment Processing and Discount Payment Processing two affiliated, Pittsburgh-based companies collectively known as DPP that provide electronic payment processing services.
With online portfolio management tools and an agent center, FTS and DPP will collaborate to serve their shared customers, the companies said in a Dec. 4 press release.
“Business with DPP will continue as usual with the same procedures and staff,” Thomas Shanley, who will remain CEO of DPP.
"As one of the fastest-growing independent sales organizations in the region, DPP will provide FTS with another strategic distribution sales channel and strengthen our presence in our home state of Pennsylvania,” said FTS President Jeff Shanahan.
DPP will combine its sales and operational experience with FTS and will operate from its headquarters near Pittsburgh, according to the release.
