Linked2pay Adds ACH Option to Golf Management Software

Golf course management software provider Club Prophet Systems is using the linked2pay application interface to add Automated Clearing House payment acceptance as an option for its clients.

Members at private golf clubs generally keep their credit cards on file, but the ACH option will allow them to draw payments directly from their bank accounts, while also keeping those transactions out of scope for Payment Card Industry data security compliance.

Oxnard, Calif.-based linked2pay makes its library available to integrated software vendors serving markets where customers might pay with cash, credit cards, checks and ACH electronic checks.

The addition of linked2pay ACH does not affect credit card processing for the integrated software vendor using the application interface.

Club Prophet Systems used linked2pay's "developer's sandbox" to incorporate ACH into its software, said Kyle Taylor, business development manager for linked2pay, in a Feb. 9 press release.

"In no time, I heard back that they had completed the work and were ready for me to move them into our production environment so their clients could add the ACH option for payments," Taylor added.

Club Prophet serves more than 1,500 golf facilities in 15 countries in nine languages, providing management software for driving ranges, public and private courses, resort and municipal courses and companies operating multiple courses.

Linked2pay serves the financial services and payments industry with integrated payment technology.
