David Clifton is Chief Marketing Officer for Huntington Bank, and is responsible for all of Huntington�s distribution, brand, marketing, advertising and customer experience. The architect of the Huntington�s rebranding, Clifton has directed the creation of Asterisk-Free Checking and the patented 24-Hour Grace, and programs resulting in double-digit annual household growth since his arrival. Prior to joining Huntington in 2010, Clifton led marketing for Chase / Bank One for 12 years, directing brand identity, new customer marketing programs, advertising, branch and ATM signage programs, internet marketing and rebrand communications. Prior to his bank marketing career, Clifton was General Manager for Young & Laramore from 1985 to 1997, where he directed marketing campaigns for accounts including Mayflower, Steak �n Shake, Red Gold Tomatoes and NutraSweet. Clifton earned a MBA in Marketing from Indiana University and a bachelor's in Engineering from Purdue.
