Contactless & Mobile Payment Behaviors in the U.S.

While contactless transaction volume in the U.S. is increasing, it has yet to reach the tipping point. We examine existing barriers to adoption, biases and misbeliefs about using a contactless system to pay; and discuss ways to remove those barriers. We predict when spend will occur, discuss ways financial institutions might significantly increase adoption, and tackle implications for banks, consumers and merchants.
