Aakash Shah
Aakash is Green Dot’s Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and Support. In this role, he oversees and determines the strategic direction and objectives of the division and drives the team’s digital transformation efforts to improve the operational and organizational efficiency of the customer experience and support team. Aakash is responsible for shaping and delivering the business’s consumer service propositions in order to drive the overall performance of the department and exceed the expectations of Green Dot’s over 5M customers. Highly skilled and customer obsessed, Aakash brings to Green Dot a diverse background in tech, financial services and manufacturing, with a specialty with customer experience management.

Before joining Green Dot, Aakash was a senior manager on Amazon’s Seller Experience team, where he led a program and product team that improved services globally for over two million Sellers on the Amazon Selling Marketplace located in more than 85 countries. Previously, he was Head of Global Client Experience Strategy at Citi where he was responsible for creating a vision, strategy, and a multi-year business plan for client experience across Citi’s Global Consumer Bank.

Aakash earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University and an MBA from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business.
