Roger Ares
Roger Ares joined Truist, then SunTrust, in 2016 as a Marketing Analytics and Client Insights Executive. Known for applying advanced analytics to strategic planning and daily operations, Roger has led predictive marketing analytics and client insights capabilities to drive demand for the bank’s segments.

Roger has more than 20 years of global marketing experience leading strategic marketing analytics, insights, and planning initiatives at Fortune Global 500 companies. He most recently served as Vice President of Analytics for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, developing and leading the advanced analytics practice and focusing on programs such as customer relationship management, marketing mix modeling, and all digital marketing initiatives from planning to execution and monitoring.

Roger’s experience spans multiple industries in companies such as Omnicom, The Home Depot and The Coca-Cola Company. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from Brazil’s Faculdade Armando Alvares Penteado in civil engineering and in business administration with a concentration in finance, as well as an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is married with 2 teenagers. Enjoys music, soccer, American football, basketball and tennis. Roger also teaches 2 classes annually at Emory (Goizueta Business School) and participates in University activities.
