Matthew Freeman
Head of Credit Card Products, Navy Federal Credit Union
Card Forum 2018

Matt Freeman has led the Credit Card Products team at Navy Federal Credit Union since March 2015. He is responsible for Product Development, Cardholder Communication Strategy, Competitive Analysis and Portfolio Performance for the Credit Card business, which is top 10 by outstanding balances among U.S. Visa®-MasterCard® issuers at over $12 billion. In recent years, he managed Navy Federal's credit migration to EMV, mobile wallet implementations and new card product launches.

Prior to his current role, Matt spent 3 years supporting Navy Federal's early stage delinquency activities and personal finance management. In 2007, he moved to a role overseeing operations for credit card fraud prevention strategy, and chargebacks; after which, he joined the credit card products team where he was responsible for new account acquisitions and portfolio sales growth.
