Randy Vanderhoof
Executive Director, Secure Technology Alliance

Randy Vanderhoof is the Director of the U.S. Payments Forum, a non-profit independent cross-industry organization formed in 2012 as the EMV Migration Forum. In August 2016, the organization expanded its charter and changed its name to the U.S. Payments Forum to reflect a broader mission beyond EMV, with over 170 participating organizations including global payment networks, regional payment networks, issuers, processors, merchants, government agencies, consultants, integrators, and industry suppliers. The Forum is focused on supporting the implementation of EMV, mobile payments, on-line commerce security solutions and other new and emerging technologies that protect the security of, and enhance opportunities for payment transactions within the U.S.

In addition, Randy continues in his primary role as the Executive Director of the Secure Technology Alliance, which prior to March 2017 was known as the Smart Card Alliance. The Secure Technology Alliance continues to support industry efforts to accelerate the widespread adoption and acceptance of smart cards, embedded chip technology, and a broad range of security and privacy-enhancing technologies for payments, identity, access, mobile, and IOT applications in North America and Latin America.
