John Bresnahan
John Bresnahan is a Director in the Payments Advisory practice at PwC where he advises card issuers on their most challenging strategic and operational issues. With over thirty years of experience in financial services and consulting, John is an expert in financial services and retail payments having worked with organizations across the payments value chain, including: retail banks and other payment providers/issuers, acquirers, payment networks, payment processors and retailers/payment acceptors. He has supported these organizations in the design of business and operating models; assessment, selection and implementation of vendors and branded payment networks; valuations of businesses and loan portfolios; and the development of payment products and reward programs.

Prior to joining PwC, John was a Partner at Edgar, Dunn & Company, a boutique payments consulting firm, and also spent five years at a large regional bank. While at Edgar, Dunn & Company, John founded and led the Private Label Card Roundtable and the Commercial Card Roundtable where he moderated their conferences held twice a year.
