Ken Myhra leads BECU’s Payments & Deposit Products, which has strategic and P&L responsibility for digital and emerging payments, credit card, rewards programs, all deposit products, ATM channel and fraud strategy for these products and services. He joined BECU in 2006 and has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry as well as more than five years’ experience in IT and business consulting across multiple for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to his current position, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including Senior Manager of Digital Banking and Senior Manager of Business Product Strategy.

Prior to BECU, Ken helped found a 501c3 not-for-profit organization in conjunction with the Seattle Sounders (A-League). Prior to leaving Bank of America/Seafirst, he was responsible for small business product management for the Northwest Region (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington).

Ken is active in the credit union industry and serves on numerous advisory boards, including EWS’s Retail Payments Advisory Council, fiserv’s ePayments Council, fiserv’s Zelle Advisory Council, CO-OP Strategy Co-Creation Council and PSCU’s Product Advisory Board. He formerly served on the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force (Medium FI Segment).

Ken is originally from Boston, but has resided in Seattle since 1997 and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, is a Graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School (in partnership with Foster School of Business, University of Washington), and holds a FinTech Certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
