Rebecca Madole is the Director, Consumer Insights at Discover Financial Services. She is responsible for marketplace and consumer insights for all Discover credit card and banking products. Ms. Madole drives a continued focus on innovation and customer experience, using multiple research techniques to uncover critical insights. Her team leveraged data and analytics to improve predictability of mass advertising pre-testing and enabled better ad optimization, leading to some of the industry’s top performing mass communications. She has been in this position since March 2015.

Since joining Discover in 2004, Ms. Madole has held positions of increasing responsibility within the card issuing function. Most recently, she was responsible for Discover’s Digital Marketing Strategy – driving incremental sales, engagement and world class digital marketing performance. As Head of Customer Acquisition – Direct Mail Channels, Ms. Madole delivered profitable growth in new customer accounts at a flat cost year after year. Prior to that, she developed new products, including Discover’s flagship product – the Discover it card – with an integrated cross-channel strategy grounded in consumer research. Ms. Madole started her career at Discover by leading call center systems strategy – delivering customer-focused improvements such as a single view of the customer and personalized servicing strategies.

Prior to joining Discover, Rebecca managed large-scale supply chain projects and partner relationships internationally for Capital One.

Rebecca has bachelor’s degrees in Marketing, Management and Human Resources with a specialization in International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
