Chris Danvers
Vice President of Payments & Digital Services, American Airlines Federal Credit Union

Christopher Danvers has worked in the Credit Union and Payments industries for over 15 years. Christopher is actively engaged in efforts to innovate payments and the credit union movement. He’s a regular speaker at industry events, a contributor of editorial content to industry publications, and is considered a payments industry thought leader. He is currently responsible for payments and digital banking functions at American Airlines Federal Credit Union.

His efforts to innovate payments and the credit union movement have included the Federal Reserve's Secure Payments Task Force as a Steering Committee member representing medium-sized financial institutions, and other industry related product advisory efforts. He was privileged to have been a part of the Filene Research Institute’s i3 program 2015-2016, and their 30 Under 30 program in 2008. In 2014 Christopher was also one of 20 semi-finalists in the CO-OP Financial Services 2014 THINK Prize competition.

Christopher is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), a 2009 graduate of the Southeast CUNA Management School (SRCUS), holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, Marketing & Sales from Kaplan University, and an Associate of Science in Multimedia and Web Design from The New England Institute of Art.
