Bob Woodbury
SVP and GM, NYCE Payments Network

Bob Woodbury is senior vice president of FIS responsible for Payment Networks and is General Manager of NYCE Payments Network, LLC and PayNet Payments Network, LLC, both FIS companies. In his role, Woodbury is responsible for ensuring that FIS delivers leading-edge payment solutions while executing the strategic vision for NYCE, PayNet, AFFN, and SUM. Woodbury also manages the growth of nationwide and international access of NYCE to thousands of financial institutions throughout the U.S. and the international financial community. Woodbury drives FIS’ combined network goals for growth and market leadership including business development and strategic partnerships.

Woodbury has led the NYCE Network team in market innovations in the areas of mobile commerce, eCommerce, and alternative payments. Woodbury has been recognized for thought leadership on industry topics including EMV, risk, and faster payments. Woodbury currently holds a steering committee position on the EMV Migration Forum of the Smart Card Alliance and a board position on the Secure Remote Payments Council. Woodbury is also Chairman of the Board for Debit Network Alliance, LLC, a company formed to represent the interests of U.S. debit networks in the deployment of technologies in the United States.

Woodbury joined FIS in 2001 and during his tenure he held a number of key positions in Product, Technology and Operations. Before joining FIS, Woodbury worked for Summit Bancorp of New Jersey for over 24 years, holding multiple positions in technology, retail, and operations, most recently as Vice President of Alternate Delivery Systems directing strategies regarding its electronic banking channels. Woodbury holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University.
