ACI Worldwide is flexing its acquired bill payments technology muscle, inking a deal with financial technology provider Shaw Systems Associates Inc. that will allow Shaw's clients to expand loan payment options to their customers.
The partnership provides Shaw clients access to ACI's integrated electronic bill presentment and payment services, Naples, Fla.-based ACI stated in an Oct. 6 press release. ACI Worldwide bolstered its electronic billing technology a year ago with its $109 million acquisition of Official Payments Holdings, a company specializing in that technology.
The payment services offer options for delivering and receiving electronic bill payments, including one-time, recurring or fee-based payments. It also offers a choice in payment channels, such as web, mobile, interactive voice recognition, or call centers.
Funding options include Automated Clearing House, credit, debit or prepaid, ACI said in the press release.
"Our corporate mission is to provide our clients with the best financial products and services so that they can deliver optimal experiences to their end customers, Cyndy Stone, chief operating officer for Shaw Systems, said in the release.
The integration with ACI's bill-payment service allows Shaw to deliver "the most seamless and cost-effective bill pay offering, right out of the box, Stone added.
The electronic bill presentment and payment services are part of ACI's Universal Payments Bill Payment software.
