Amex, Regal Software collaborate on accounts payable tech
American Express and Regal Software Technologies, which specializes in corporate disbursements, have introduced an integrated solution to streamline business-to-business payments via Amex’s corporate cards.
A new universal software adapter called RegalPay Payables Automation with American Express enables Amex corporate card customers to pay suppliers from their accounting software in RegalPay’s platform, reducing steps and reducing the potential for error, the companies recently announced.
The solution relies on virtual card technology and provides a method for businesses to pay multiple invoices at once with automatic reconciliation.
“This solution allows many of our customers to continue using the accounting systems they prefer, while adding seamless integration from American Express,” said Gint Balodis, vice president of B-to-B products for Amex’s global commercial payments.
The new approach will save businesses time, said Kofi Conduah, Regal Software’s CEO.
"The Amex corporate card program is a natural fit for RegalPay as it allows for a seamless integration between corporate ERP systems and the Amex tokenization program,” Conduah said.
