Vacation property rental companies and bed-and-breakfast operators can now accept online payments at the same time they’re booking clients through cloud-based WebReserv.com.
BluePay Processing LLC, a Naperville, Ill.-based ISO, is providing the online payments technology through a partnership with WebReserv, the companies announced March 7.
Besides property rental and hospitality companies, the partnership enables tour operators, equipment rental businesses and others working through WebReserv to incorporate online payments.
"Working with WebReserv makes it possible for us to give customers both an easy reservations system and an affordable integrated payment-processing solution," Kristen Gramigna, chief marketing officer at BluePay, states in a press release.
WebReserv, serving small businesses in the U.S. and Canada since 2004, operates in somewhat the same way as Yelp, but enables customers to book, and now pay, directly online, Gramigna says.
WebReserv.com’s booking system helps rental companies manage bookings, inventory and customers, and it includes a booking calendar that users can add to websites and Facebook pages.
BluePay works with local and global merchants to simplify accepting credit cards, electronic checks and other payment options, according to the release.
