Bank of America Merrill Lynch is centralizing information and updates for global commercial card administrators within an online tool called Card Assistant.

The tool provides administrators with access to industry and product updates, fraud prevention tips, reference information, webcasts and videos via links on a desktop browser or a mobile device, BofA Merrill Lynch said in a Wednesday press release.

“In their daily digital lives, our commercial card clients have access to a lot of tools for quick reference, and Card Assistant makes it just as easy for our clients to access the information and training they need," said Hubert J.P. Jolly, global head of financing and channels for Global Transaction Services at BofA Merrill Lynch, in an interview.

BofA Merrill Lynch last month rolled out CashPro Assistant for corporate customers, leveraging more complex digital technology including artificial intelligence and APIs to streamline treasury functions.

"We're using the 'Assistant' brand name to continuously digitize the tools we offer commercial banking customers so they have the option of getting information they need wherever they are, whereas in the past it would have required making a phone call or turning to an account manager for help," Jolly said.
