Carrier billing provider Boku says it has expanded its agreement with Microsoft to provide services for the first time in France to all Windows 10 devices on the Orange France network.
As part of the integration, Windows 10 users will be able to use their mobile phone number to save their mobile account as their preferred payment method when making any purchase in the Windows Store, Boku stated in a blog post last week.
Windows devices offering Boku include phones, surface tablets, personal computers and laptops.
The arrangement comes five months after the companies made a similar arrangement in the U.K. through O2 and in Italy on the Wind network; and two months after bringing services to Russia and Poland.
France is one of the top global markets for Windows 10 adoption, which currently has more than 400 million downloads globally. Orange boasts more than 29 million subscribers and nearly 40% of market share in France.
