Century Payments Inc., a Frisco, Texas-based independent sales organization, pledges annual donations of at least $150,000 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research over the next three years, Century Payments says. The $450,000 donation is part of Century Payments' Every Swipe Counts campaign. For each new merchant signed to process payments through Century Payments, the ISO will make a one-time donation of $25 plus 5% of the net revenue it generates from the retailer. The campaign not only distinguishes the ISO among its competitors, but it adds no additional cost to the merchant, a Century Payments spokesperson tells CardLine sister publication ISO&Agent Weekly. Participating merchants also will have their processing rates locked in for the duration of their processing relationship and receive a one-time $250 bonus. The program is not unique. Westchester, Ill.-based Money Movers of America Inc., for example, set up Process Pink that donates a portion of merchant-processing fees to the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.
