Cashbox PLC, an ATM deployer based in the United Kingdom, said Monday it had an installed base of 2,045 machines as of 30 June, up 12.4% from 1,820 machines at the end of the 2007. The company had an installed base of 1,442 machines on 30 June 2007, Cashbox said in a trading update. While transaction revenues increased "slightly" during the first half of 2008 compared with the first and second halves of 2007, "transaction volumes per machine were slightly lower following reduced activity levels in some of the outlets where the company's machines are located," Cashbox said. Cashbox did not provide specific transaction data and said it has yet to set a date for its annual results announcement.
