Collection agency ConServe, based in Fairport, N.Y., is listed on the seventh annual Inc. magazine 5000 list, a ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The company placed No. 2,971 on the list. Fuhu tops this years list, which also includes well-known firms such as LivingSocial, Edible Arrangements, CDW and Lifelock.

The companies on this years list report having created more than 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion.

ConServe started in 1985 and has provided accounts receivable management services in higher education, government and commercial markets. ConServe was ranked as the #1 performing collection agency on the U.S. Department of Educations student loan collection contract from 2004-2010. In 2009, ConServe was again awarded a long term contract by the Department of Education and is among the top performers in this category.
