Online merchants using CyberSource Corp., a unit of Visa Inc., for their online payment processing will be able to use Trustwave’s security-assessment services, Trustwave announced Nov. 11.
The services help merchants assess their compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Trustwave is an approved scanning vendor, a designation overseen by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, which also oversees the payment-security standards.
CyberSource merchants may use Trustwave’s TrustKeeper Web portal in conjunction with Trustwave’s PCI Wizard service to answer a personalized questionnaire that simplifies the complex PCI terminology. The service also helps merchants complete PCI self-assessment questionnaires, schedule required vulnerability scans and receive compliance certificates.
CyberSource says all of its merchants, including those using the Authorize.Net online payment gateway, which is popular with smaller merchants, can use the service.
CyberSource would not disclose the price for the service.
