The ATM maker Diebold Inc. has purchased Altus, a multivendor service provider based in Ankara, Turkey.
Altus provides hardware and software-based services to financial companies. It has 32 service centers covering about 80 cities in Turkey, with more than 150 people devoted to ATM services.

"Altus represents the top multivendor service provider in Turkey, owning a significant portfolio of contracts with both financial institutions and the government.”
Bulent Tellioglu, Altus’ CEO, will become Diebold’s country manager in Turkey. Diebold is based in North Canton, Ohio.
"I am very proud to join Diebold and be part of an organization that will offer the Turkish market added value on many new levels," Tellioglu said in the release.
