First Data and LocalVox are joining forces to provide a marketing technology platform for small and medium-sized businesses.
The offering combines analytics from First Data's Insightics product with LocalVox's multi-channel targeted marketing.
Through Insightics, businesses can see which days of the week sales volume usually declines. Then, by leveraging LocalVox, businesses can elevate their marketing on those days.
"First Data's Insightics analytics platform, plus LocalVox's marketing automation expertise, means SMBs can see what's happening and address it in near real time," said Peter Donat, senior vice president of First Data Ventures, in an Aug. 11 press release.
LocalVox's marketing automation platform operates across channels including email, social, search and mobile.
"We believe we have found the ideal partner to propel LocalVox above the noise of the marketing automation space and close the loop from online marketing to physical sales," said David Pachter, chief executive of LocalVox, in the release.
