Global Payments Inc. has promoted David Mangum to the role of president and chief operating officer and hired Cameron Bready to succeed Mangum as chief financial officer.
Mangum will oversee the Atlanta-based payment processing company's U.S., Canadian and Latin American businesses. He joined the company in 2008 as executive vice president and CFO and was promoted in 2011 to senior EVP and CFO.
Bready, who will also be an executive vice president, was previously top financial executive at ITC Holdings Corp, an electrical transmission company in Novi, Mich.
Mangum will assume his new role on June 30 and will continue to report to Jeffrey S. Sloan, who became Global's chief executive in October. Bready will also report to Sloan.
"As we complete the transition of leadership at Global Payments, David's contributions to improving and controlling distribution, building a solid technology foundation, driving efficiencies, delivering revenue generating products and leveraging existing relationships around the globe will enable our strategy for continued growth," Sloan says in a May 22 press release.
