ATM manufacturer Nautilus Hyosung America Inc. says it sold more than 20,000 ATMs in North America last year, up 39% compared with 14,433 in 2007. "Last year was a very strong year for us. We gained momentum," Randal Lawrence, the Coppell, Texas-based company's marketing manager, tells ATM&Debit News, a CardLine sister publication. One of the most-successful sales efforts last year involved New York-based Citibank, which bought nearly 2,000 of the company's ATMs, Chan Park, Nautilus Hyosung America president, told ATM&Debit News earlier this month at the ATM Industry Association 10th Annual Conference and Expo in Nashville, Tenn. The company's top sellers continue to be Mini Bank 1500, the NH 1800 and the MX5000, Lawrence says. All are cash dispensers, but Nautilus Hysoung can reconfigure the MX5000 to cash checks, he says.
