Citigroup, which owns Diners Club, long has refused to discuss the brand for this article and to disclose the performance statistics that other networks provide. And each year it becomes increasingly difficult to find analysts who watch Diners Club closely enough to offer informed opinions about the brand's performance.
  So it is with regret that we discontinue discussion of Diners Club from our annual Card Profitability Study.
