The South Bend, Ind., banking company 1st Source Corp. is reissuing all its debit cards after hackers broke into its systems.

Larry Bauer, 1st Source's vice president of marketing, said Thursday it is reissuing all the cards even though not all accounts were affected by the breach.

It began notifying customers May 28.

Mr. Bauer said would not say how many accounts were affected, nor how many cards are being reissued.

A vendor 1st Source uses to monitor its systems discovered May 12 that hackers had gained access to debit card account numbers and personal identification numbers and told the banking company that day; 1st Source would not name the vendor.
