Prizm Payments has bought the point-of-sale terminal business of India's Reliance Money in an all-cash deal, an official from the India-based payments technology infrastructure provider tells CardLine Global. The official declines to talk about the deal's financial terms. "We are planning to roll out ATMs and POS networks and are talking to banks about this," the official says. "Prizm currently offers ATM and POS services in 50 locations." Prizm reportedly hopes to raise 2 billion rupees (US$41.9 million or 28.5 million euros) over the next two years for mergers and acquisitions involving ATM and POS networks. Further details on the deal were not available.
