Kilowatt Credit Union of Madison, Wis., has selected First Data for debit processing services. The credit union also joined the Star Network, signing a multiyear agreement under which Star will provide PIN-secured debit point of sale and ATM access to its cardholders.
The $23 million-asset credit union has 3,700 members. It serves the employees and families of Alliant Energy Corp. and its subsidiaries, as well as residents of Columbia, Dane, Dodge and Sauk counties with branches in Madison and Rio, Wis.
It is a member of the Wisconsin Credit Union League, which has had a relationship with First Data for debit processing services for more than a decade. Star, a First Data company, is an electronic funds transfer network with more than 2 million retail and ATM locations.
