LevelUp will integrate its loyalty and mobile payment technology into the pcAmerica Restaurant Pro Express and Cash Register Express point of sale systems.

The agreement will enable LevelUp to extend its services to more than 50,000 restaurants, liquor stores and convenience stores. LevelUp transactions will get logged alongside other credit card and cash transactions, and the company’s analytics from customer campaigns will be integrated into the merchant’s existing point of sale to track customer purchase habits.

"Many of our customers were requesting the LevelUp integration because it makes transactions more seamless, so we were eager to make this happen,” said David Gosman, pcAmerica’s CEO, in a release.

As part of the integration, the pcAmerica POS software provides retailers with the option to supply LevelUp with data to inform brand- and merchant-funded campaigns in the future — such as a burger restaurant offering free frees with the purchase of a burger.

LevelUp, which is offered by SCVNGR, allows users to link a bank card to a mobile app to make payments. The app generates a QR code that merchants scan to accept a payment from a linked account. The company recently added its first bank client, First Trade Union Bank, which offers FT Pay, a mobile payment and loyalty application powered by LevelUp.

LevelUp has previously integrated its mobile payment system with NCR’s Aloha POS system for restaurants, and has partnered with Heartland Payment Systems and the Shopkeep POS system.
