Prepaid Financial Services Ltd. has two new partnerships to provide prepaid products in the U.S. and Canada.

“We now have two new partnerships in place that will allow us provide white-label prepaid[products] into both of these countries,” Noel Moran, Prepaid Financial Services chief executive, said in a March 21 news release. “This will drive new opportunities and allow [Prepaid Financial] to provide our U.S. and Canadian clients with white-label products."

The London-based company did not name its partners for expanding to the U.S. and Canada.

The prepaid program manager says it also will launch other programs across Africa and the Asia Pacific region this year as part of a strategic plan to grow. It may target Botswana and India specifically.

Prepaid Financial Services already has programs in the United Kingdom, France and Romania with imminent plans to expand into Slovenia.

"We expect to launch similar products to those that we have created in other markets, and we intend to capitalize on our experience of providing multicurrency cards for business and personal travel, instant-issue products, expense cards, remittance cards, contactless NFC [services], virtual cards and many other innovative [services]," Moran says.
