Merchants Still Ignored
Commenting on July 24 story: “Collaboration, not Conflict, is Vital to Mobile Payment Growth:”
One problem with payments today is that most of the traditional institutions treat merchants as second-class citizens. As I understand it, Mobey Forum is another one that reserves decision-making to banks and allows merchants to come pay a bunch of money to offer advice that is typically ignored. If these institutions want cooperation, they need to open up.
