Most financial institutions already have added mobile-banking services or are in the process of adding them, said panelists at SourceMedia's Mobile Commerce Summit in Las Vegas Monday. Interest in mobile banking is accelerating, said Spencer White, director of business development with San Antonio-based AT&T. In one to two years, all financial institutions will have a mobile-banking service, he said. Ginger Schmeltzer, senior vice president with SunTrust Bank Inc., agreed. "Even small banks are working to extend their online banking to mobile services," she said.
