Mobile bank N26 is continuing its close association with Apple Pay, saying it will bring the mobile payment service to its customers in Spain later this year.

A positive reaction to bringing Apple Pay into Italy in the past few months, and requests from customers to add other countries to the service, triggered the movement into Spain, Berlin-based N26 stated in a blog.
N26 was quick to take advantage of an iOS update that would enable consumers to initiate voice payments last year, enhancing its person-to-person payment service through the use of Apple's Siri virtual assistant.

In its efforts to provide all financial services through a mobile app, N26 also informed its customers it would soon add an insurance service to go along with its mobile payments, and credit and savings accounts.
