NCR Corp. on May 17 renewed its agreement to provide online banking services for Old National Bank, an Evansville, Ind., financial institution, that expects its online banking customers to double in the next year.
NCR is continuing to provide hosted online banking services that are re-branded for Old National Bank customers, Jeff Dudash, an NCR spokesperson, tells PaymentsSource. Duluth, Ga.-based NCR’s APTRA Online Banking enables customers to pay bills, check bank account balances and receive bank notifications.
Online banking continues to grow in popularity with Old National Bank customers. In 1999, when the bank launched the service, 20,000 customers opened online bank accounts. Today, 144,000 customers bank online. NCR expects online banking customers to double in 12 months. In addition to Indiana, Old National, a regional bank, also has branches in Illinois and Kentucky.
NCR declined to disclose contract details, and Old National Bank officials did not return calls for comment.
