Jul. 25--Kent police have identified a suspect in the theft of more than $250,000 in fuel from a local distributor.
According to a news release, police believe the 44-year-old man stole fuel cards, then used them to steal gas from Pacific Pride, which doesn't have an attendant at its stations at night. The suspect would then sell the fuel at a discount.
Police think the man stole the cards from companies where he used to work or broke into semis.
The News Tribune is not naming the man because he has not been charged.
