The ATM Industry Association named Gregory Sahrmann and Steve Gernes as co-chairs of the nonprofit trade association's U.S. board of directors.
Sahrmann is currently the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Louisville, Ky.-based Payment Alliance International. PAI is one of the largest ATM deployers in the U.S. with payment processing and maintenance services in more than 60,000 locations.
Gernes is the ISO segment manager for Elan Financial Services, a provider of ATM, debit card, credit card and prepaid card services for financial institutions. Elan is a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp.
"Greg Sahrmann's knowledge and industry standing will help ATMIA expand its leadership role as the U.S. market continues to evolve and draw regulatory attention," says Tom Harper, ATMIA's president, in a Feb. 10 press release.
