Pakistan's National Database and Registration Authority says it will deploy kiosks where consumers can pay utility bills, according to a local report. CardLine Global was unable to reach agency officials to obtain more details about the initiative. The agency reportedly also plans to launch a fee-free computerized national identity card for citizens who have not yet registered for the card, the report says. Citizens use the cards for voter identification and census purposes, the report says. More than 50% of Pakistani citizens do not have the identity card, according to the report.
