Global payments processor Payscout has launched a self-service payment portal to process transactions between a business and its debtors, in effect linking businesses to back-end processing facilities without involving bill-collection agents.
Through the Condor portal, Payscout says its payment processing platform will handle self-serve bill payment options that can be accessed at any time in any location.
“Condor was created to bring order and efficiency to the incredibly cumbersome collections process,” Payscout CEO Cleveland Brown said in a Thursday press release. “Accounts receivable management can be a costly and time-consuming practice, involving mailing and calling debtors."
Los Angeles-based Payscout "saw a need in the market for an evolved, frictionless payment solution and with Condor, and our customers are now freed up to focus on debtors that require more interaction,” Brown added.
Condor enables debtors to view their current account information and set up payment arrangements in real time, while the company remains compliant with all relevant privacy regulations.
The portal is available as a mobile-enabled web site, interactive voice response, or a combination of the two, with custom parameters to meet current business operating needs and client requirements, Payscout said.
Payscout says it offers a flat-fee pricing model, with no additional transaction charges for collection agencies using its services.
Payscout also continues to advance its virtual reality commerce application through a partnership with Visa. The company, long focusing on card-not-present payments, says it has added new solutions to its VR Commerce product.
