Payza, a payment processor and digital wallet provider based in London, has launched an eGift product for customers in the United States.

The new service allows U.S. account holders to browse and purchase eGift cards directly from their Payza eWallets. Payza is partnering with CashStar to launch this eGift Cards product, for which Payza charges no fees. 

More than 80 retailers and restaurant chains are represented in Payza's eGift cards product, including Foot Locker, Groupon, and The Home Depot.

"This is the first of many new products we will be offering our U.S. consumers," said Ali Nizameddine, executive vice president of products and technology at Payza, in an Aug. 25 press release. "Our platform is flexible and extensible enough to add new features."

Payza released a tool last week that allows its merchants to accept payments from shoppers who have not previously enrolled with Payza. The company also brought its online payment processing and eWallet services to the U.S. in July.
