Phillips & Cohen Associates International Ltd. the global arm of a deceased recovery specialist, on Tuesday announced its plan to add a location in Melbourne, Australia.
The group, in business since 1997, has six other offices in the US, Canada and the UK, including its international headquarters in Manchester, England.
Subsidiary business, Phillips & Cohen Associates (Australia), Pty Ltd. will open during the second quarter and will be based in the HWT Tower, next to Melbourne's central business district.
Current UK Site Director, Nick Cherry, will assume the role of managing director of Phillips & Cohen Associates International Ltd. and will help lead the international expansion along with continuing to manage the UK operation.
"As the global debt recovery market becomes increasingly regulated and the quality of the customer interaction becomes ever more important to major creditors, there are a number of international markets where we feel our unique approach will be able to add significant value," Cherry said. "Australia will form the vanguard of our expansion plans."
