A study guide has just been released as a companion to a recent hardcover book aimed at the acquiring industry.

The 204-page workbook, called “Credit Card Processing for Sales Agents: Study Guide,” contains 522 questions and 21 activities, says the author, Bill Pirtle. Users can personalize the guide because it’s held together by a three-ring binder, Pirtle says.

The guide accompanies the hardcover 648-page “Credit Card Processing for Sale Agents,” which was released in late June, he notes.

The hardcover version, which Pirtle compiled, contains 44 chapters by 39 authors who are veterans of the acquiring business, Pirtle says.

Readers may obtain the book and guide at creditcardprocessingforsalesagents.com. The book also is available at amazon.com, and the guide should become available there shortly, he says.

The book retails for $124.95 and the guide for $29.95, but readers qualify for a limited time for a 40% discount on both if they enter the letters “WSAA” in capitals in the appropriate place on the site, Pirtle says.

“WSAA” stands for Western States Acquirers Association, which is holding its annual conference this week in Huntington Beach, Calif.
