The Members Group has developed a new tool designed to simplify card portfolio analysis.
ClearTrend will enable credit card portfolio managers to track cardholder spending and other patterns with graphics, the Des Moines, Iowa-based credit union service organization said in a March 16 release.
The tool scans cardholder- and portfolio-level data to find patterns and trends in a credit card portfolio. It presents the findings graphs and tables within seconds. Card managers can view account balances, delinquency and cardholder spending trends. ClearTrend can also chart cardholder purchasing patterns, including the most- frequented merchants.
“To achieve higher product penetration and deeper customer relationships, financial institutions need to become intimately familiar with their existing customers,” Shazia Manus, CEO of The Members Group, said in the release. “Laser-targeted data allows card managers to drill down to that cardholder level to better understand how their portfolios are – or could – perform under specific circumstances.
