Visa has made several changes in its management structure, including the expansion of Bill Gajda’s duties.

Gajda is now the global head of strategic partnerships and is managing Visa’s relationships with mobile network operators, device manufacturers and platform providers. He was previously the global head of mobile product. Gajda will report to Jim McCarthy, who was recently named global head of innovation and strategic partnerships, Visa said in an Aug. 30 blog post. Gajda has played a substantial role in Visa’s mobile point of sale strategy.

Jennifer Schulz, head of global e-commerce, has left the company, Visa said in an email to PaymentsSource. Visa did not provide details on Schulz’s departure, saying it does not comment on personnel.

In other moves, Elizabeth Buse was recently named global executive of solutions, a new global group that matches product and client functions. Buse's team has responsibility for managing technology in digital channel, processing services, information products and merchant sales and solutions. It also includes Visa's CyberSource unit.

Buse’s reports include Sam Shrauger, now its global head of digital for developed markets. Shrauger joined Visa as its global head of commercialization in December after stints as senior vice president of commerce at Yahoo and vice president of global product and experience at PayPal
