Walter M. Macnee on May 15 became president of the Americas at MasterCard International. He succeeds Ruth Ann Marshall, who retired but agreed to stay through June to help with the transition. Macnee was president of MasterCard Canada from 2001 to 2004. Most recently he was executive vice president at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto.
Teletrack Inc, a Norcross, Ga.-based sub-prime credit bureau, has named Dale Williams as its new president. Williams previously was vice president of collections and recovery at Fair Isaac Corp. He replaces Teletrack founder Dana Webster, who is leaving to pursue a new venture.
John Barbella has joined Minneapolis-based BankFirst as senior vice president of the company's stored-value solutions division. Barbella previously was director of business development at Deluxe Corp.
Washington Mutual Inc. has hired Nandita Bakhshi as executive vice president and manager of payments in its retail banking group. Before joining WAMU, Bakhshi worked at First Data International, where she served as the managing director of the multinational mobile solutions division.
FleetCor, an Atlanta-based provider of commercial fleet card issuing and processing services, has appointed Benton Routh as president of FleetSource, a new company division designed to deliver products and services to independent petroleum marketers. Routh previously was FleetCor's chief marketing officer.
Payment processor Metavante Corp.
promoted Michael D. Hayford to senior executive vice president and chief operating officer from vice president and chief financial officer. Hayford began his career with Metavante in 1992 as head of operations. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer, a position he assumed in 2001, until a new CFO is named.
