Digital remittances me into favor last year, even for companies with heavy walk-in businesses, and demand remained high on the receiving end. But we're now entering a phase where some parts of the world will recover at a different pace from others, and this injects new uncertainty for remittance providers.
Many new users came into digital channels during the pandemic, but will they stay? As the pandemic ebbs, will customers be more sensitive to fees or the reputation of their provider? And where else can companies like Remitly innovate?
